One of the primary advantages of polyurethane injection is the minimal downtime. The material reaches 90% of its full compressive strength within 15 minutes of injection. This means your walkways and sidewalks are ready for foot traffic or bicycle use immediately after our crew departs.

Polyurethane foam is a permanent solution. Unlike traditional mudjacking—which uses a heavy slurry of soil and cement that can eventually wash out—high-density polyurethane is hydrophobic (waterproof). It will not erode, shift, or lose its structural integrity over time. Once the injection is complete and the soil is stabilized, the lift is designed to last as long as the concrete itself.

Our process is remarkably "low-impact." We utilize small-diameter injection ports, approximately 5/8 of an inch (the size of a penny). Once the slabs are leveled, these holes are patched with a custom-matched concrete grout. Because we don't require heavy machinery or excavation, your surrounding landscaping and turf remain undisturbed.

Applying a "skim coat" or a "cap" of new concrete is a temporary aesthetic fix that ignores the root cause: the unstable soil below. We only require foot access to your sidewalk. The only physical impact on the concrete itself is a series of 5/8-inch injection holes, which are filled and sealed upon completion.

Yes. This is known as "negative pitch," and it is a leading cause of basement water intrusion and foundation erosion. We strategically inject foam near the foundation-side of the walkway to "pivot" the slab. This restores the positive pitch, ensuring that rainwater and snowmelt drain away from your structure and into the lawn or drainage system.

Colorado’s climate is particularly harsh on concrete. Water gets under slabs, freezes, expands, and then leaves a void when it melts. Because our polyurethane foam is hydrophobic and non-porous, it acts as a moisture barrier. It fills the voids where water would normally collect, preventing the "ice-jacking" that leads to seasonal shifting.

This is a common issue in established neighborhoods. If a tree root has physically pushed a slab upward, we cannot "lower" it with foam. While it's possible to level the surrounding slabs to create a gradual, safe transition over the root - the real continuing problem is the root's growth over time.  Without the tree roots addressed, the roots will continue to grow & your concrete will probably continue to heave & raise awkwardly.  In most cases, we'd offer solutions where we redirect the roots & replace the concrete for a long-term solution.

Many contractors offer "sidewalk grinding" to fix trip hazards. While cheaper, grinding thins the concrete, weakens the slab's structural integrity, and leaves an unsightly, scarred finish. Polyurethane leveling preserves the full thickness of your concrete while addressing the underlying soil void that caused the problem in the first place.
