Repair Day

Repair Length. Most residential repairs are completed in a single afternoon. The exact duration depends on how much polyurethane material is needed to fully support and lift the slab. Our Concrete Specialist will provide an accurate timeframe during your assessment, and our scheduling team will confirm your specific time block.

Experienced Technicians. Your project will be handled by a highly trained, experienced technician who understands Colorado soils, concrete behavior, and how to control the polyurethane injection for an optimal lift.

Injection Process

Precision Drilling. We drill small, penny-sized injection holes strategically across your sunken concrete slabs.
The Lift. We inject our eco-friendly, high-density polyurethane foam through these holes. The foam expands, fills the voids beneath the slab, and gently lifts the concrete back to its proper height.
Clean & Patch. Once the concrete is level, we custom-mix a concrete patch to fill every single injection hole, smoothing it over so it blends as best as possible. We clean the concrete & foam debris before leaving.

PREPARATION & ADVICE

Recommendations Before Repair

For repairing interior concrete such as basement slabs, have your utility + plumbing lines scoped and clearly marked for us before we arrive. This ensures our team knows exactly where not to fill, protecting your waterproofing systems and home utility lines. During your evaluation, our team will discuss & provide resources on how to do this. This will be outlined in the disclaimers & disclosures of your estimate.

Signed liability waivers are required if you voluntarily choose to proceed with repairs without locating and marking your underground lines. To make this step easy, we can connect you with our recommended trade partners to ensure you receive the best pricing and quickest service.

Plan for Box Truck & Access Parking. Be considerate of vehicle parking & access. Ensure street parking in front of your home is clear of personal vehicles, trailers, or trash bins before our scheduled arrival time.
Please move anything on the concrete pads needing repair before the repair. For driveway & garage repairs, please park your vehicles somewhere else. Porches & patios means moving patio furniture or heavy planters. Interior concrete needs to be cleared of belongings or carpets.

Frequently asked questions

Should I be around during the repair? How about my pets & kids?

As long as we have clear access to the concrete for repair, you don’t strictly need to be home. However, we highly recommend you're available so we can discuss our recommendations face-to-face and answer your questions in real-time.

But plan for keeping pets & kids at a safe distance away from the repair site. There will be construction tools and concrete dust. Our box truck has a loud generator & drilling holes into concrete is a loud process.

Do I need to move my stuff before you arrive?

Can the concrete leveling process crack my concrete?

How soon can I walk or park vehicles on the concrete after repair?

Is joint caulking/sealing involved?

Sometimes caulking is recommended. Sometimes caulking is unnecessary. Our Concrete Experts will know when to ethically recommend concrete caulking. Joint or crack caulking is most commonly advised to prevent possible water intrusion. If you prefer caulked joints & cracks, that's fine too.

We usually schedule caulking repairs soon after the concrete leveling. This allows the initial air pressure & off-gassing from the foam material to transition to inert. Caulking immediately after would trap that pressure, eventually cause bubbles & deformation to the caulking.

It should be clear in our digital estimate if we included caulking / sealant in your repair but if you have any questions just call us directly & ask!
